DUI Charges May Follow Deadly Los Angeles Vehicle Crash

On July 17, 2017, three vehicles were involved in a deadly crash in the area of Roscoe Boulevard and Irondale Avenue in Los Angeles. According to a witness, the collision was horrible and sounded like cars crashing into a brick wall.

When Los Angeles police officers arrived on the scene, they reported that the male driver of a speeding Dodge Challenger sideswiped a Subaru before colliding with a Ford Escape, propelling that vehicle into a tree. The Dodge continued on Roscoe and caught fire with its occupants trapped inside.

The Dodge continued on Roscoe and caught fire with its occupants trapped inside. The driver of the SUV that smashed into the tree was declared dead at the accident scene. She was a woman who was reported to have been in her 40s. Officials say that the driver of the Subaru was uninjured, while two of the occupants who were in the burning car were seriously injured, and the third person was in a critical condition.

Police believe that the driver of the Dodge was impaired by alcohol and/or drugs and that if it was the case, both DUI Charges and Felony DUI would follow. Such charges could be very serious.
